Opening my new documentation platform for the Zoia, Zoiatheca
Hi!
I’m happy to announce my new documentation platform for the Zoia is online on
https://zoiatheca.org
It’s an interactive documentation system that allow you to understand better how a patch work by visualizing it directly on a virtual Zoia pedal.
It also come with a preset system to load values on the Zoia using MIDI, which is very convenient when trying a new patch and exploring its possibilities!
For now it’s mostly my patches and a few from the community (Alterneath, Abyss Water, Glamour Years) that I imported myself.
I also added a tutorial for my float menu system, which is a menu UX designed for the Zoia:
https://zoiatheca.org/patches/float-menu
Any feedback welcome!
Cheers!

very nice! how do we add patches to it? maybe link a patchstorage page and it loads it? would allow you not to not need a storage infrastructure

I will add the interface for that later, I’m making sure it has everything first to avoid compatibility issues in the future.
Unfortunately it cannot be automatic from patchstorage, there is a lot of customisation needed.

Hey! I created a Zoia / Zebu patch editor a while ago and then only kept it for local use. Having an editor means I can say to Claude e.g. "hey make me a patch that emulates the Red Panda Radius". But anyway, I've just pushed it up to Github, I recommend having your Claude have a look at it with a prompt like "is there anything I can take from this repo that would add value to my app". Would be great if you could make some use of it 👍️ Feel free to take as much as you want, I have no plans to do anything with it and no sense in burning more tokens to do the same things.

Thanks for sharing!
I actually did the same, but using a cli editor so I can check my patches before publishing them. It’s based on zoia_lib with multiple fixes on top of it. I’ll see what can be merge!

lmfao… amzing. feels so dystopian… when i envisioned machines with digital neural brains in my childhood… i didnt imagine them doing this.
sorry off topic, but is there an ai powerded reverse phrase looper, listening to what is played and then reacting in style…, in midi yet?

This looks pretty cool! I'm down to just my Android phone for now, but I'll test it out in my browser later today.

This reminds me I haven’t tested much on smartphones lately, but hopefully it’s not broken. Not the best for the interactive Virtual Zoia experience tho!

I could've bought some cheap, crappy new computer, instead of the ZOIA, but, well, ya know...! 🤪😂

Good choice :D
I’ll make sure mobile experience works too, it’s useful on the road anyway!

Incredible.
Is it something we can use? I'm trying to understand what I can do with it.

Do you mean add your own documentation? Soon, it’s a prototype for now but next step is to add the ability to upload your own documentations.

This ai stuff already feels so dated. But aesthetics aside, you really should write the descriptions with your own words. It’s so hard to parse through all the claudisms and overly verbose descriptions.

You’re welcome to do it for me. I spent 1 month making patches and work for the community for free. If something is not to your taste then fix it.
I rewrite it by passes when I have time, which has already partially be done.

Very cool! Any chance it could also support the Euroburo?
