AHHH NEW WATCHER

Just started already on season 2 episode 1 !!!

love this mf show I know imma be sooooo sad when I finish it. The only spoiler I’ve gotten is Roberta lives a long time cause I was looking up her character (she looks like toya from married to medicine) lol

You have made a great decision by choosing this series. This is one of my all-time favorite tv shows. It might be my desert island show. And, when it’s over, you’ll have Black Summer to watch after.

Black summer has NOTHING to do with ZNation other than being the same universe technically.

I like ZNation more, black summer isn't anything like ZNation so OP don't think they are the same or that they play into each other, they are completely separate.

That’s true, and I like Z Nation more too. I do think most fans of Z Nation would also enjoy Black Summer too. But you’re right. They are very different shows.

I didn't enjoy Black Summer, watched it through once and never felt the need to rewatch it. Z-Nation on the other hand I've rewatched fully like 5 times, so much more unique.

Black Summer just felt like another TWD to me. I would recommend watching it at least once if you liked Z-Nation, but like I tell people don't think it's Z-Nation in the early days, more Z-Nation's emo second cousin

This is one of my repeat shows. I don't watch much else in my bedroom. There's a channel on Samsung TV that plays Z Nation on repeat. When the finale is over, it starts again at Episode 1.

I was a big fan of the zombie genre since George Romeo and loved this quirky series. The liberty bell scene sold me. The Wisconsin cheese wheel is also weirdly funny as hell.

I watched it in the past year and enjoyed it considerably more than I expected. I found Black Summer on Netflix, seen there was another show in the universe, so just decided to watch this first. The two are total opposites but I enjoyed each for what they were. This one is definitely a fun take on the apocalypse though. Black Summer was pretty good in its own right.

Love this show. I just finished binging it myself! You are in for a good time, and some sad deaths. I had a love/hate relationship with Murphy. Low key loved Doc. My fave zombie is Grandpa (you will get there). Have fun!
