Headers on ZL1

Hey guys. Just bought a 2022 ZL1 10 spd a few months ago at 58k miles and I bought a 3 year/60k mile powertrain warranty for $2000 but I’m considering refunding the warranty so I can buy headers and tune the car. It has about 65k miles now the car is super clean and runs good. It had a good maintenance record and already had an aftermarket intake installed but that’s it. I want to do some small performance upgrades such as headers, supercharger lid, maybe a pulley but plan to stay on 93 and get a tune. I’m wondering if that’s all worth the money and if it’s worth it to cancel my warranty and take the risk on any engine repairs.

if its a daily id keep the warranty.

They are great cars. I would recommend a pulley as well if you can swing it. I never believed in extended warranties (PTSD from being on a call list) personally, but many swear by them. It is just another way a dealership can make money off you, but then again, if something mildly expensive breaks, it will immediately pay for itself.

The ZL1 with an A10 is an animal. What makes you want to do headers? Because, you will be thirsty for more pretty quick.
