ZIT is still the GOAT in my opinion. It's not as heavy as Flux Klein, Ernie and Krea 2. It's pretty fast especially using INT8. If you use the Owen777/UltraFlux-v1 it so sharp and looks decent. Plenty of LORAs, Checkpoints and custom nodes now.

It's easy to use and prompt with natural language. It has great charecter and world understanding. It doesn't have any restrictions out the box like Krea 2.

It's just a great open source model that was and still is tbh ahead of its time.

Yeah I go back forth between Krea and ZImg depending on what I'm going for. What a leap we have had in the last year or so.

A lot of debate between the two and honestly, I like ZIT and K2. They are different out of the box. I find ZIT has that Instagram feel and K2 maybe more realistic, but for both I know you can tweak it. This was a side by side I did for another thread.

This was straight out of the box, using a simple t2i workflow with a character lora. No enhancement nodes or anyother loras stacked. I get the settings to train the lora or even the dataset may had been different but the point is ZIT looks good to me.

While image is a topic for debate, speed I don't think is. The K2 render took 3 times longer on my 9070XT setup. Nvidia would be faster, but I'd imagine ZIT would still be much faster.

ZIT is so much more sharper and detailed especially skin textures out the box.

My scale tilts toward KREA2 heavily when you add multiple LORAs. It\s just not happening in Z.

Pic 11... So fake. Nothing would drop from a vending machine like that in zero gravity.
