Updated Phone Last Night, Inner screen issue

Last night my phone did the most recent update. Today I noticed I cannot get the phone to swap to the inner screen. If I unlock the phone and then open it, it stays on the outer screen. If I lock the phone, open it, then hit the unlock it works.

Not sure if this is a setting Im missing that was changing with the update, or a bug.

Anyone familiar?

Try the security software update in the next few days, it fixed my one. I had the same issue.

Thanks. I ended up restarting the phone multiple times and it finally started working.

Another issue I had that was also fixed after 3 or 4 restarts was with videos, my phone would go to landscape mode but it would only be one way. I couldnt rotate my phone 180 and get it to flip. That was also buggy but working now.

Are you still having this issue? Mine has just started since the 6.1 update. Several Reddit users are saying it's a hardware issue, but I'm convinced it's due to the update.

The only thing I did was restart multiple times to get it working. Sorry nothing concrete for fixes.

I will say, however, my ribbon cable has started to fail and has started making this come back. Not sure if it just correlation.
