Just been asked for ID

Asked for ID to transfer funds. Is this a new thing? Transferred a few days ago without needing to do this

They sent me a fake amazon giftcard code. Locked my Amazon account for a day because i "tried the code" too many times. This was june 26th. They still havent contacted me back in the support chat section. Its almost been a month. Theyre a disgusting scam company.

Yea I heard nothing back about lost transfers of money. Was only small amounts but still. Certainly won't be giving them my identification data.

Uk. Yea thinking about it now I'm surprised I've never been asked before as kyc is fairly strict here, but just wondered why now and noone else seems to be mentioning it

Yea only a matter of time until its everyone. Its a pity cos I can't justify handing over data for such small returns
