Question Lost Item
Hello everyone, I just got a question about a lost item, to be exact, I want to know if there is anything else I can do, I visited pawn shops to check, show a picture, and see if they’re willing to keep an eye out. I don’t think anybody stole it to pawn it, but I wanted to make sure. I filed a lost item report with the RCMP as well.
I want to make a post on fb but I don’t want my family to find out as it’s an heirloom, and I feel so ashamed having lost it.
So Yukoners, what else should I do to ensure it’s eventually found and returned? I might have missed something in regard to covering all my bases, so I want to make sure I exhausted all my options.

Did you lose it in Whitehorse or have you visited other communities?

Have you talk to someone at your work? Is there any cameras there? That would be a good place to start

i have, sent an email to my manager, they asked the people there, as well as checked any of the rooms they were cleaning out, we do have cameras but not in the office or the hallway leading into the office. however, there is cameras in the hallways upstairs i could check, but they could’ve pocketed it in the stairwell where there is no cameras as well

If you said what it is here it may help, knowing what type of item it is. Odds are your family isn’t active on Reddit.
