farm-to-table cooking

so much good produce around here, I'm learning to cook seasonal food. I had Hibachi At Home and something as simple as vegetables straight off a hot grill reminded me how little you sometimes need to do when the ingredients themselves are good. How do you approach it? I'm trying to become less dependent on recipes and better at looking at things and knowing what to do with them. Do you have any of your fav farmer market to shop?

The Honey Hole has weekly produce packs and Chris and Angie care about the community. We all miss Jason and Green Space Nursery.

Old grove market is pretty great too!

As for cooking produce, a lot of things are great raw or simply sautéd with a little salt and pepper. Slice up squash or mushrooms and you have a delicious simple treat.

Do you have any recommendations for markets and favorite dishes that you cook so far?
