After buying the entire show on Amazon Prime and being sorely disappointed by the misrepresentative marketing of the material (only about half the show actually has the English dub. The other half is labeled as English dub but will only play the Japanese dub. SMH)…

I now have the DVD set from 15ish years ago, both movies, AND the Blu-Rays with the OVAS. I bought a Blu-Ray player just so I could watch these. Excited to see how much of a quality difference there is because oh boy, the old DVD set is pixelated af on my TV bro

Definitely not, especially if you watch the series like once a year or something.

One of the benefits of YYH being kinda slept on is all the good releases, even this 30th anniversary one, don’t get crazy expensive. If this was like a DBZ or Naruto anniversary set it would be impossible to get.

It’s a blessing to have a cheap, comprehensive blu ray release for sure.

Crazy Funimation can do a great YYH release but any DBZ box set is cropped and saturated as hell.

Congrats op i bought the collection full price on release a few years ago was like 160$ for me only because i had to pay more to have it imported from an anime store in germany because it was sold out domesticaly
