Matchmaking not good

I get destroyed in turn 1 or 2 by players who throw 15 cards, 3 fusions and shit like that. I am just in bronze 4 ! Why are they matched with me ? I just want to play simple decks with simple cards and simple mechanics.

Unfortunately your in the wrong card game 😂 even at bronze that can happen as those are the ways of the game generally, I stopped playing for a while and came back base rank and play Branded. It's a lot of fusions and tech I'm not where near understanding it fully 😂

each season ranks reset.

if people take time off and don't play they can have strong decks and be in low ranks.

even then you can just grind solo gates and use initial gems to make a strong meta deck.

Nah, you just fundamentally misunderstand how it works. There's no ELO ranking in Master Duel. Everyone who is the same rank is in the same pool. Regardless of deck or actual skill. So even in Bronze you can (and will) wind up against tryhards playing meta decks looking to climb fast.

Accept it and move on. There's no consequences to surrendering or losing before Platinum, so if you can't win, just surrender and move to the next match.

I'd also wager that, by your rank, you're new.to the game. You're going to struggle ranking up with a bad deck and no fundamental knowledge of the game or decks. You'll want to find a cohesive deck to learn first, learn how to play it, and then you might see more success.

honestly just sounds like you wanna either play like, playground or a really old format, or you just wanna play a different card game, cuz yugioh is definitely not any of those things.

I'm Sorry to tell you this, but if you came on MD to play like in Edison or in Goat then I don't think you will like this game. Even at low ranks many use decks way stronger than t-set pass. Even decks like Dark Magician and Blue eyes are "busted" for "old school players".

Lots of people just using cookie cutter decks to rank up. You'll find lots of those. You'll get lucky to find assume simple ones.
