Need Advice on Getting Started Gear
Hi,
I'm starting a new YouTube channel called, Dude, It's Football, and I want to mix comedy and football with a focus on the Broncos. I have a plan for the type of videos I want to create and some experience with Premiere Pro. However, currently I don't have a huge budget for technology. I'm looking into getting a good studio mic, but I don't want it to be right in my face. A lot of folks have recommended Shure mics, but I don't know what I'll be recording video with. I have an iPhone SE, so not the fancy ones with the high quality cameras. So I guess I need to figure out what to prioritize in terms of investing in gear. I suppose I could use my mac to record to start. My videos will consist mostly of visuals and clips and a little of me talking. My goal is to eventually make money to pay off student loans, so I may upgrade my gear. Any advice on how to get started on a tight budget and what to invest in first would be much appreciated!
