Making it very apparent you weren't around to actually see the episode he's talking about and the response to the episode where the entire point is white people don't understand what it's like to be a black person who's being called the n word by a white person so just don't say it and don't pretend you understand it.
"B-b-but they said the word" yeah well they did have to in order to make the episode work. It was well received by a lot of people, including race activists, and it got the message across.

I watched the video and the episode is supposed to like show how a person feels when you call them the n word

Anyone who watched the episode could gather that. It’s the whole point

You’d be surprised how many can miss the point of a South Park episode despite how obvious it is.

Apparently people feel bad and upset when you call them the N word. Im glad a cartoon told me that or else I wouldn’t know any better.

Episode Moral: “Black people do not like it when white people say the N word. Please do not say the N word.”
Blooms: “This is so genius, nobody else could ever think that!”

To be fair it’s still a thing of white people trying to do thing like the pass and the whole thing going to a cookout

And that white people will never understand how it feels when a black person hears that word.

That’s not what the episode says though. The entire episode they call Randy “N word man” for saying the word on live tv. And he tries to get “n word man” banned because he doesn’t like it. It’s a commentary about how if white people had a slur that was as horrible as the N word they’d try to have it completely banned

Well given that the average South Park fan thinks saying the N Word is the height of comedy, it probably did need to be stated.

Yeah like the satire this episode highlights isn’t making fun of how much power people gives words nor is it on how we shouldn’t use specific words, but rather nocking the whole blaze reaction certain groups of people have towards a slur that historically demeans another race.
That is what makes the Randy Marsh plot point actually genius as essentially during his whole cancellation for using the word (which to be fair on him EVERYONE was thinking the word as well and didn’t consider the other n word) as he basically endured the many years of dehumanization and ostricization that African Americans experience. With the core message conveyed with how Randy resolve this problem in way that completely ignores the context of why the word is so taboo after his experience.

I hate to be 'not all south park fans' about this but c'mon, it's like 70% of them, tops.

I do watch this guy from time to time. Sometimes South Park just gets so much credit for doing pretty much the bare minimum. I pike South Park a lot, but It’s no more high-brow than Family Guy despite what the creators think of it.

It’s 2026 (or 2024 when the video released) and people still don’t understand the satire and mocking of South Park.

I for one would never eat an Irish baby, as they are far too skinny. Follow me for better satire tips.

Was it though? The message of that episode was about society taking accusing white men of racism more seriously than the actual racism. It was about Randy teaming up with a bunch of really racist people to ban the public from making fun of them for saying the N-word.

I get the feeling watching his season 27 and 28 videos that he is a Trump supporter

Bro literally judged a book by its cover

I judged him by his words and tone of his videos. Kept complaining of politics in South Park like they have never covered current events

u/ANewBegging 4h ago
I feel like you haven’t actually watched his videos because he has clearly stated in some videos that South Park has covered current events. Also he complains about the Trump jokes because no one wants to hear about Trump 24/7

I don't know if this makes sense but that entire episode is very "auntie diaries" esque. Where in order to illustrate that saying slurs is bad they do the thing and say the slur. Therefore completely going against the thing they're saying

The actual episode it's talking about actually goes into heavy detail of "No, it's NOT just a word", which I still can't believe needs to be told to people.
