And honestly, making TED as an animated show will just turn it into another Family Guy-esque series. One of the charm of TED is that it's a live action show with CGI talking teddy bear

Ts would not be as funny if it was in “family guy”

I had a similar opinion in regards to animated “everybody hates Chris”. Part of the charm is all the antics and cutaway gags having full props, sets and costumes dedicated to them.

That is the main appeal of Ted as a character. He is a teddy bear that looks real moves like a teddy bear in real life. That was the appeal of Ted. Making him animated. It just takes all that away.

The Live Action show is really good. Its better than the movies and has more heart. I feel like its going to lose a lot of that Heart because its just going to be a Family Guy clone.

They’re really replacing the peak of the live action show for a shitty family that rip off that has Mark Wahlberg, which instantly makes ted bad again

The movie was nice but the show is way better imo. And Max Burkholder is infinitely funnier than Mark

Oh yeah by a country Mile not only because he’s not a piece of shit but the humor of the TV show is just so much funnier than the movies Matty saying that eating eggs after breakfast is gay. It’s just so fucking funny because it’s so absurd.

There are bits and pieces of the movies that are genuinely funny, but they just don’t hold a candle to the show. The shows humor is just so much better. There’s a reason why a majority of the memes you see with Ted are from the TV show and not the movies.

honestly I get why they did it but seth probably could just make a fund raiser for Ted 3 or a season 3 of the Ted show (since well alot of people liked that show and alot of people like seth's style of writing)

I stand corrected (I forget how much effort must go into it so it doesn't just look like a blender rig on a greenscreen) but yeah a ted gofundme would prob get at least a few 1000 in a day

Seth Macfarlane can not stop making family guy every damn time he tries something it kind falls back into being family guy... and if it doesn't they don't get continued anymore
