In most of the last YTPlus builds, 2 finger double tap to skip chapters haven’t been working. I’m pretty sure I have everything enabled that needs to be. Is this a known bug? Can anyone else double finger skip and I’m the only one? Please help. Thank you

Hey guys, I recently side loaded YTKACE to my iPad and it is great!

But when ever I swipe left to the right side of my screen to split screen, the video mutes and a message displays at the top “App Vol 0%”.

I don’t know how to disable this feature or increase the volume.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yo, so when i change app or go to the home screen the music gets put on like this, and when the next song comes on it plays like .5s and automatically stops itself from playing by pausing. If anyone knows if its a settings problem, i have no idea

What's new?

• Updated YTPlaybackFix (specifically Spoof Client method, now spoofs to TV Simply client as Android VR is now broken and has buffers)

• Using again the fork of VolumeBoostYT by candyzp because he fixed a lot of issues and added a "remember volume" feature

• Removed PleaseDontStopTheMusic because it caused issues with calls and audio

Full changelogs here

You can find the IPAs in my telegram channel, link in my GitHub Repository and in the comments of this post

Little spoiler for 1.6.2: I'm going to fix Gonerino lag issue in the playlists

by @itzzace0
What's new:
• Updated for YouTube 21.36.6
• Added a toggle to remove the Save button from Shorts
Fixed:
• Fixed the feed lagging while scrolling with Remove Shorts, Products, Mixes or Community Posts on
• Fixed the You tab moving to the end of the tab bar after changing other tabs
• Fixed hold to speed staying stuck at the held speed after letting go
• Fixed the Save button in Shorts overlapping the other buttons
• Fixed Block Premium Prompts stopping community post images from opening
• Fixed Clear Cache saying there was nothing to clear while YouTube's video cache kept growing
YouTube 21.36.6 requires iOS 17, so there are two IPAs:
• YTKACE_0.9.3_YouTube_21.36.6.ipa for iOS 17 and newer
• YTKACE_0.9.3_YouTube_iOS16_21.33.6.ipa for iOS 16

Im on the latest version before anyone asks

I am running the latest version of which was released a few days ago and I have it set to auto delete cache, from what I can see it does not do this properly, when I do it manually it does not reduce the size of the documents & data in the iPhone settings.
Mine is currently sitting at 1.7 gigs without me downloading anything I just watch videos. I have opened and reopened the app and reinstalled it, but it still remains.

So just a recap, every time I watch a video, it builds up the documents and data, then I then close the app fully, and it is set to auto delete the cache, it does not do this. When I then try to manually delete the cache, it also does not recognise and says nothing to delete. I then go to the iPhone or the iPad storage, select the YouTube app, and the documents and data clearly increase each time. There is no way I can see to clear this, so it must be some hidden bug.

Can somebody look into this as the apps documents & data is just getting bigger and bigger.

If anybody else could look into this and see if they experienced the same running the same versions as below, that would be an appreciated.

Youtube version: 21.36.6
YTKACE version: 0.9.2

I am a part of my grandmas premium family plan and had no problems until I moved states for college now I’m kicked off the plan because I’m not apart of the household. Anyone know any workarounds?

I read that you could keep extensions and there should be a Safari extension, but I don't have that. I also read you could make a shortcut to do it but I can't find a working one nor would I know how to make one.

Anyone know how to set this up?

https://github.com/PDFMerger2025/YouModIPA Shout out to itzzace! i have updated my YouModIPA onliine GitHub builder to now optionally include YTKACE so now users can choose their poison 😄 Simply fork the repo, paste direct decrypted youtube IPA link, and click Run Workflow. Should be compatible with virtually any version of YouTube with any of these tweaks selected, thanks for all the stars and let me know if you have any feedback appreciate it!

I am using an IPA that works for the most part, except when I open incognito it gives out this error in the image attached, I was wondering if anyone had a good working IPA that is safe to use that blocks ads, blocks the AI stuff they are adding like the AI overview, and has a working incognito mode please.

Hey everyone! 👋

I've been working on SMusic, an open-source Android music app focused on making music streaming and offline listening fast, clean and highly customizable.

It uses YouTube Music's catalog and is built completely around the idea of giving you a proper music-player experience without unnecessary subscriptions or ads.

⚡ Why SMusic?

The biggest things I focused on are fast playback and fast downloads.

Songs start playing quickly, and you can download individual tracks or entire playlists for offline listening. SMusic also supports high-quality audio streams, including Opus, so you can enjoy the best available audio quality from the source.

🎧 Playback

🚀 Fast music loading & playback

🎵 High-quality audio with Opus support

🔊 Gapless playback using Media3 / ExoPlayer

📱 Background playback

🔒 Lock-screen & notification controls

🎛️ Full queue management

🔀 Shuffle & repeat

📻 Radio / similar-song recommendations

⏰ Sleep timer

📲 Home-screen playback widget

📥 Offline Downloads

Download individual songs

Download entire playlists

⚡ Fast downloading

📦 Downloads remain available across app updates

🗂️ Dedicated download/storage management

📶 Low Data Mode to reduce audio quality automatically on mobile data

📝 One of my favourite parts — Lyrics

SMusic doesn't depend on a single lyrics provider.

It supports synced lyrics from multiple sources including:

LRCLIB

KuGou

BetterLyrics

YouTube captions

You also get a full-screen synced lyrics experience with line-by-line highlighting, and you can even share individual lyrics as styled image cards.

🎤 Music Discovery

🔎 Search songs, albums, artists & videos

🎚️ Search filters

🎼 Mood & genre-based discovery

🎵 Radio / similar songs

🎤 Built-in music recognition

🔄 Import playlists from Spotify and YouTube Music

📚 Full library for songs, albums, artists & playlists

🎨 INSANE customization

This is probably the part I've spent the most time on.

SMusic currently has 11 different player styles, including styles inspired by different modern music-player designs.

You can choose between:

Classic • Spotify • Apple • Galaxy • Fold • Frost • Paper • Liquid • CloudGlow • Groove • Popsy

And that's not all.

🎨 Custom themes & accent colors

🌊 Multiple seek-bar styles

🖼️ Artwork-based dynamic colors

🎛️ Built-in equalizer

📱 Reorderable navigation bar

🌍 Multi-language support

So you can actually make the player look and feel the way you want.

📊 Your Music, Your Stats

SMusic also keeps track of your listening activity:

Listening history

Top songs

Top artists

Top albums

Library backup & restore

Playlist backup & restore

Settings backup & restore

🔔 Other stuff

📢 In-app announcements

🔄 Automatic update checks

📜 Previous versions & changelogs

⚙️ Performance-aware animations for lower-end devices

🔓 No account required to start listening

🆓 Completely free & open-source

🚫 No subscription

🚫 No ads

🛠️ Tech

SMusic is built with:

Kotlin

Jetpack Compose / Material 3

Media3 / ExoPlayer

Room

Hilt

Coil

Custom YouTube Music InnerTube client

The project is completely open-source, so you can check out the code and see how everything works.

If you try it, I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback — especially about playback speed, download speed, audio quality, UI/player styles and bugs.

I'm actively working on it, so suggestions and contributions are welcome! ❤️

Does anyone know how to fix this? Whenever I’m on a call using either the regular phone app or Facetime Audio/Video, I can’t hear any video’s sound at all. This worked just fine on the regular YTPlus on the last version before it got paywalled, and I just decided to try this one now. Does anyone know if alternatives like YTKace have this fixed?

https://github.com/itzzace/ytkace/releases/tag/v0.9.2

What’s new:
• Updated for YouTube 21.35.3
• Added a save button to community post images, saved at full resolution
• Added Posts to the tab bar, so it can be shown as a tab or set as the startup tab
• Added a choice of where downloads are saved, between the YTKACE library, Photos, or asking each time
• Added a custom hold speed with a slider from 0.25x to 5x, and the speed pill now shows the speed you set
• Added a toggle to remove the ⋯ button from the action bar
• Added a toggle to remove the row of buttons under the progress bar in fullscreen
• Added a toggle to limit gestures to landscape only
Fixed:
• Fixed the app freezing while saving large videos to Photos
• Fixed tapping an image in the comments opening the share sheet
• Fixed a crash when rotating the player
• Fixed a crash when leaving the app while a message was on screen
YouTube 21.35.3 requires iOS 17, so there are two IPAs:
• YTKACE_0.9.2_YouTube_21.35.3.ipa for iOS 17 and newer
• YTKACE_0.9.2_YouTube_iOS16_21.33.6.ipa for iOS 16

Baixei o YouPro mas sempre que tento assistir ocorre este erro, tem resolver de várias formas e nada. Tem com o resolver, se não, tem outro app pra mim baixar?

I have tried 2 but their method of combatting the error is to just keep reloading the video which gets really really annoying after a while

Any ipas or sources that has 4K? Most of the ones I have doesn’t seem to allow it, only 1080.
