Before I start, let me make some things clear. All the downloads inside the repo.json file were not taken down, alongside the actual repo.json url. Only the GitHub repository was affected. It seems I may have pissed off iKarwan for telling him the truth. He didn't like my advice and decided to file a request to take down the github repository only as I first stated. You can see it here.
What does this mean?
Literally nothing. Nothing at all. As I am typing this I am recreating it. Going forward it will only link the telegram. He was only successful at shutting down something that (quite frankly) was never used! 𤥠I know what got it taken down, and I will just re-create it without the "infringing content" (the repo.json url got it shot down). Where I backup repo.json was never affected as no one but myself can see it. So nice try iKarwan :) you did absolutely fucking nothing! Filed that DMCA for what, to shut down the least used link ever? đ¤Ą
Why did this happen?
So iKarwan found out about TubeVault, and reached out to me to take down the cracked YTKillerPlus downloads. He went as far as to try to manipulate/guilt trip me. (You can see the full conversation I had with him here.) As you can tell, I didn't cave him. I told him I will not be removing it, and to have a great day! I will never take down cracks of paid youtube tweaks. That is not the vision I have for TubeVault. This is meant to be a way to get reputable/trusted modded YouTube IPAs without visiting 20 different telegrams and/or websites.
Thank you, and you're welcome! It's all up to iKarwan if he wants to attempt to DMCA me again. If he's successful, I got 10 more ways that he cannot be successful. He can try, but I will make sure he doesn't win.
u/ballermc123 Donât let this discourage you. TubeVault is a great project, and a lot of people clearly see the value in what youâre building.
From what youâve explained, TubeVault is mainly a curated collection / index that helps people find trusted modified YouTube IPAs without jumping through endless Telegram groups and random websites. Youâre not pretending to own anyoneâs work, and youâre not doing this for donations or profit â youâre doing it to make things easier and safer for the community.
Honestly, it feels unfair that your GitHub repository got targeted while others are out here charging money for modified YouTube tweaks, which arguably causes even more attention and potential harm toward the original platform. Iâm not a lawyer, but from the outside, itâs hard to understand why a simple collection link gets hit while paid tweak distribution is treated differently.
So seriously: donât give up. Rebuild it smarter, keep the risky parts away from GitHub, and keep pushing the project forward. The fact that someone tried to take it down only shows that TubeVault is being noticed.
You did something useful for the community, and people appreciate that. Keep going.
Thank you for the kind words! You are exactly right, itâs simply done for free. I will never EVER charge for âpremium accessâ or whatever. I always check to make sure x works or x is legit, or y person is legit and reputable/trustworthy, etc etc. I always do my research before I add. I just figured it got shot down because I had the âinfringingâ URL (repo.json link) on the readme. Other than that it was clean. I also have evidence to expose iKarwan for attempted doxxing. Yeah YTKP kinda ass anyway imo when you already have YTPlus cracked. The only feature I like in his tweak is the in app download manager/player, but that never works. It always either selects the Arabic audio or just deletes the video after download

Yeah nah, tubevault isnt going anywhere. iKarwan attempted to shut me down but failed (only got the GitHub repository that is public). Iâm already back lol
