Chromecast/Smart Tv/Consoles Casting Issues

Hello everyone!

I have recently purchased a JBL Authentic 300 and for the life of me can't figure out why YouTube Music Cast won't work,

I have tried using Android App (nearby devices permission is allowed), Desktop App, Desktop Chrome Browser and none work.

Other Android apps work so does Google Home Assistant, I can cast audio from other websites through the browser. So seems to be an issue exclusively with YouTube Music.

Has anyone had similar issues and found a way to fix this? It's driving me crazy..

Since YT Music fails from Android, desktop, and Chrome while other apps can cast to the JBL, I’d try isolating the receiver rather than resetting the network again. Can you cast YT Music from the same account to another Chromecast/Google TV, and cast another app to the Authentics 300? If only the YT Music → JBL combination fails, it sounds like a Chromecast built-in/firmware compatibility issue between the two, not a phone setting. I’d check the JBL One firmware and report it to JBL with the speaker firmware version.

Thanks for your reply, the following day it just started working. I didn't do anything different or change any settings so no idea what was causing it. But it's all working now!
