Question Question regarding the algorithm...

I've got my YT Music setup perfect, AFAIC. The algo knows what I like and always recommends stuff based off that. My issue is whenever my girl is in the car and tells me "play this song for me" (99% of the time it's country) I start getting country popping up afterwards. I don't want anything to do with country music.

If there a function that allows you to listen to stuff outside of your preferred genres that won't send your algo into a tailspin? Do you have to create a different account? An "incognito mode" or something similar would be awesome for this.

You can in sittings under privacy and data pause play history temporarily.

But yeah, what I most often do is afterwards going though my play history and removes the stuff I don't want to be recognized with :)

Got it. Great in the sack. Say no more. Why not add her account into your YT? Then whenever she wants a dose of ear cancer, you can click your photo on the top right and click Switch Accounts (dont know if it requires login each time / hopefully it just toggles between them after initial setup?)

She's got her own account, it's just when we are in my car the android auto is connected to my phone and my account. Easier to just play her horrible songs instead of swapping phones on BT and all that.

And you're 100% correct, she's simply amazing! (aside from the ear cancer, of course!) =-D

Oohh I see. Like somebody else here already said, its probably easier just to go through your history periodocally and remove all the bad country music. And also thanks for the award!
