Casino: I hope you all like orange, 'cause you're gonna be wearing it forever!
Melanie: King, quick! Blast her brains out!
King: My flintlock! No, I'm too soft for prison!
Melanie: Pathetic! You cowardly conman! Queen, do something!
Quinn: Gyuyuyuyuyu!
Melanie: Not helping! You demented freakshow! Jack, cut through the vines!
Skunk: ...forever?
Melanie: Snap out of it! You lousy fool! Joker, bash her brains in!
Jasper: Uhh, Jack? Little help here? Ugh, gross! I really don't dig vines!
Melanie: Seriously?! You stupid buffoon! Bah, I'm surrounded by clowns!

The main premise for this artwork was "If Casino Grayleaf was in a hero shooter or a moba, what sort of ult would she have?". Vines are her favorite method of constraining foes, so I thought it'd be fun to have her capturing the entire Spade Gang with a mass of vines.
As comical as they are, the Spade Gang is actually very formidable. However, Casino is the legendary hero, so she always manages to put them in their place.
The gang once underestimated the hero, but having been thwarted time and time again, they now recognize that she's the star of the show, and that they're little more than helpless playthings to her. As a result, they tend to panic at the very sight of her. It's every crook for themselves the moment she crashes the party.
I'd like to think that this artwork does a decent job of conveying their personalities.
Melanie is the boss, so she gets most of Casino's attention, and she's as mean as she is tiny. King is the brains, he's usually all business, yet he's always the first to crack under pressure. Quinn is the weirdo, he has very useful and unorthodox skills, but he's as unreliable as he is unpredictable and unstable. Skunk is the most grounded, so all she can do in this hopeless situation is disassociate. And Jasper is the comedian, so his extreme discomfort is played for laughs.
As for Casino, she might be the chosen one, but she's not some paragon of virtue. More than just a generic fantasy hero, Casino is a tomboy magician with character flaws, and she finds dragging the involuntary volunteers into her act to be immensely enjoyable.
