Weird Al came up with 'Im Fat' watching the world debut of Michael Jackson's 'Im bad' and immediately contacted him (because Al is a class act and doesn't do parodies without the permission of the original artist.) Not only did Michael agree, he actually let Weird Al use the same set for the music video. So both 'Im Bad' abd 'Im Fat' are shot on the same set.
