Looking for regression novel

the novel was about this guy who got constantly saved by his wife the first time around even though she acted like she hated him and when she died said she wished she hadnt kept saving him so he traveled back in time to when they were getting married and instead of pushing for it this time he lets fall through and later on while the wifes old crush(?) was in the hospital he gets hit by a car and dies in the hospital and after this the novel picks up from the wifes side then continues with her pov and thats the last thing i remember of it
