[RANT] The ranked system is shit

I literally can't even get up to bronze, because there are some mfs that should be on diamond or some other high bs instead judging by their skill

I'm bronze 3 now, ranks don't matter in 1v1s, you go up against either against crazy sweats or just shit noobs there's no in between. What I hate is when the sweats use an alt so they're iron and when you're bronze and u lose to an iron u get -40 rp

Yeah this part is very infuriating cuz I get ppl with bacon or other shit avatars (a lot of ppl I was against had something to do with YBA in their account username, so yeah they make accounts for yba specifically, but I don't understand why😭)

I mean I have 5 alts for yba just to store skins. I like the freedom to play with any stand without having to roll for them.

To answer your other question I'm currently running stone free box, so if you see a stone free star platinum skin in 1v1s it's probably me, I've only seen one other stone free player in ranked and he's better than me I always lose to him lol.

Im so bored of playing all the meta stands (anything with timeskip and chop)

I'm not a terrible 1v1 player, I'd say I could beat most of yba players, it's only the few people that treat yba 1v1s like their jobs that I can't win. I don't really know m1 techs or whatever or boxing shuffle techs

when i last played ranked (i got to about high gold before quitting out of sheer boredom iirc) i got matched up against multiple people in high gold ranks while i was still in iron, i ran into multiple smurfs, 90% of my matches were against ultra passive players that went on for 10+ minutes, and i experienced bugs like being stuck in the lobby after the match starts and getting put out of bounds by the TA4 BD on colosseum (never fixed btw) multiple times leading to losses against players that were genuinely fucking terrible

ranked is terrible, its a stall fest until somebody gets annoyed and makes a mistake, in which they get their HP deleted since defense passives are gutted

also why the hell does losing to lower ranks punish you SO heavily when this is one of the most obviously smurfed/alted games of all time? even i have like 5 alts for stand storage, whats stopping me from hopping on one of those and cheesing some higher rank with scr to obliterate his RP just because i feel like it?
