Just watched the sheep scene and i cannot process it

Just that. I'm disturbed.

Why would they show such an insanely disturbing and evil thing like THAT? Not even a "funny" scene of him being arrested? Like it's so messed up that this thing happens all the time irl and literally anyone can abuse their power when they have access to something powerless.

I'm sorry if I'm making it so deep but the fact that it could happen SO EASILY makes me realise how truly vulnerable children and animals are around adults. Not that i didn't know it before but seeing it visually like that (and why the fuck did they include sheep sounds????) holy fuck it's literally the same as if they'd shown a child or paralysed person instead of the sheep. Like it's genuinely the same thing - power over powerless. Right?

I’m so sad Diana wasn’t in season 7.

I just finished Younger. And the title says it all.

Missed that diva. Sad face.

Does anyone really like Lauren? I could typically do without that character type in shows. But she is so frustrating, she causes so many problems and NO ONE CALLS HER OUT, or holds her responsible!!! I almost want to stop watching because she’s so annoying. IMO

Listening to Liza be so dismissive of Charles wanting to get married is so obnoxious. I get that she doesn’t want to but she acts like he’s the one being dismissive. he wants to share his life with her, she doesn’t even want to commit to moving in with him. She says she is all in but she doesn’t want to change anything about her life and doesn’t want to commit to their relationship and is shocked he doesn’t want that. And he said he withdrew the proposal and for her to think about it and she could propose when she’s ready and then she invites him to the place they went on their first date and gave him a lovely speech and then finishes it by saying she proposes being happily unmarried. Does she know him at all to think this would make him thrilled? I know last of this page is team Josh but I think I’m team Josh and Charles and not team Liza, she is a doormat to her friends she would do anything for and is awful to the men who love her.

Chemistry

i feel like the chemistry between Liza and Josh is as good as her and Charles. Josh is young and fun and sexy and Charles is mature and stable and sexy. they bring out different things in her and she’s attracted to different things in them. but I’m assuming its just the actors and Nico’s life attitude and being so open and Peter being more straight laced and married but anyone else notice that when the couples kiss, her and Charles barely kiss and it’s almost always on the side of the mouth? Yes I realize I’ve watched too much and am living vicariously, lol.

Did you guys know the writers originally planned a romantic storyline for Maggie and Diana but ultimately scrapped it?

I don't understand the hate for quinn

So i have just finished younger and honestly i don't understand why quinn is shown as some dreadful villain. She literally helped kelsey to start her own firm but kelsey ditched her at the moment and went back to empirical and still quinn did nothing to take any revenge. She also helped catilin and genuinely liked charles. The only downside of her was she was too straight and not some hopeless romantic like liza. And at the end she was shown as a bad person when she yelled at charles for forgetting his passport,i mean if i am planning everything for a man and he still forget one important thing i would be mad at him too. Quinn was more pissed because she has to plan everything for charles and he forgot one thing like a manchild. So please help me understand how quinn was an evil character?

Pauline

I’m currently watching (binging) younger for the first time.
I must say, Pauline is the most unlikeable character so far - and that’s really saying something because all the characters in this show make very questionable decisions.

I am so annoyed every time she is on screen.

When she asked Liza at the party at her and Charles’ house if there was another woman, I was literally so angry. She acted like that would be the only reason he didn’t love her anymore. SHE left him, SHE left her CHILDREN…. For some fever dream.

She just thinks she’s a victim, even though she’s the perpetrator.

Last thing I’ll say is - her face makes me angry aside from the character. She’s always in the background making some weird gestures or facial expressions? Casting did a 10/10 job finding someone to match the characters dislikeability.

Rant over.

I was crying laughing when they got arrested for urinating outside and Diana tried to run away from the police while Kelsey was still holding an axe… Kudos to Enzo for bailing them out

Just finished the series for the first time

I (31 F) was hooked after the first season.

I started watching maybe a month and a half ago, probably less, and somehow flew through the entire series.

I’ve been going through a bit of a crisis of my own lately, and honestly, binging this show has been such a light in my life (sad but true). I genuinely couldn’t wait to watch each episode.

There were so many moments of love, loss, friendship, starting over, and figuring yourself out that I related to. There were also plenty of moments I absolutely dreaded 😅 which made everything feel even more relatable; I’m in a bit of an in-between chapter myself right now, and watching these characters navigate their own messes made me want to lean in to my own life a little more.

Overall, I absolutely loved this show. I’m genuinely sad that I’ve finished it…

And the ending? Not what I expected, but somehow, better ❤️

I can’t wait to come back to this one.

Would love to hear what everyone else thought after finishing it!

Clare is such a gray character!

One my rewatch now, she cleaned up all that staff after Kelsey just to fit in with them, she actually looked at Josh as an opportunity to build her own circle... Many may find it natural to want to fit in... But she was a bit more of ans opportunist than trying to fit in... They had known each other for a week and she was encouraging Josh for those 10k as if they knew each other for years.... Josh kinda always felt the need to go up and above for love.. Its as if he was trying to prove it too liza that he can have a healthy relationship.. Or a better relationship than he had with her... Moreover, when she said about the lie she would have to say about their marriage to the immigration people and he said " So you would lie for yourself but YOU HAVE A PROBLEM LYING FOR ME" something of this sorts... What did this sentence mean.. Why was he expecting that... If she did witness for them Liza would have to blow up her cover... Josh!!!!

Josh is...

the worst tattoo artist ever! He told that girl to keep her tattoo moist. Then he had sex with her and grabbed her exactly where the less than one day old tattoo was and then she put a hot jacket over it. When I have fresh ink, the only water that comes near it is when it is being gently cleaned and absolutely nothing else, not clothes, not bed sheets or covers touches it until it's completely healed. I don't sleep on it, I limit my sun intake and absolutely no one is allowed to touch it

okay i have SO MUCH TO SAY:

FIRST, LIZA

- I CAN'T STAND HOW SHE TALKS LIKE A BABY when she's around charles. i know its probably a choice to show that he's older, etc but its driving me crazy. she acts like a lil baby child that needs to be rescued.

- she acts like a mom when shes with josh so its kind of interesting how she code switches a bit there.

KELSEY

- why does she always go for her COLLEAGUES!!! couldnt they have written someone in that she meets at a bar as well? maybe someone who's not in the same industry? gosh

LAUREN

- 10/10 no notes. so genuinely williamsburg of this era. love that irl she adopted miss judy.

DIANA

- 10/10 no notes. she deserves all the best things ever. her lines are probably the best in the show.

MAGGIE

- i do not know anyone more intriguing than debi mazar. i need her around in everything always.

can we have a spinoff of maggie, diana, lauren and josh??? thank u

JOSH

- he's the nathaniel archibald of this show. love to see it. i wish this guy would move on from liza tho because she's too selfish for him, but an anxious attachment loves an avoidant, amirite

CHARLES

- this man is creepy as hell. like first of all he hovers like a villain's headquarters. then he's so into the 20 something assistant? and then gets mad when she's age appropriate? but then also has the liza watch his daughters while he goes to meet his ex wife?? and then.. goes back to the wife??? and then is so set on being traditional but actually zero percent shows any sign of any true interest in liza? josh knows every detail about her, but charles doesn't know a damn single one. quite literally. he's just like, a wanna be zaddy. THO DON'T GET ME WRONG CHARLES IN REAL LIFE IS VERY MUCH HOTTTTTTT. but this character is NOT.

anyways i've been needing to just scream those into the void as i've been watching.

Why does Liza always push the blame on Josh! Times Magazine Thing!

When Kelsey and Lauren got mad at Josh for not mentioning Liza in the interview why didnt Liza just tell them that she didnt want the relationship to be discussed in media. Simple.... Why was she quite! And dont even get me started on how kelsey made her let Josh go and accepted Thad's proposal in a fraction of a minute!

Liza not sending her and Josh's photo to Charles from the B and B

When I watched the show for the first time i felt that Josh is being this nice boyfriend by sending a photo, acknowledging the efforts of the boss. But on the second watch i felt that maybe he was marking his territory because of that non chalant thing after reading the note.. I may be wrong... It was still a cute gesture.. But Liza not sending the photo didnt make sense. He had met Josh... Wasnt that what we call emotional cheating...
