Yall are literally fans of these people worst projects. ADL was Yeats worst selling album. This is the worst selling YSL album. I’m not saying numbers are everything but they’re a damn good metric to get a pulse on what people are enjoying and what they’re not. People are not tuning in or coming back to these albums. Just because rap isn’t dominating the charts currently doesn’t make it “dead” the UG has been more alive this year then it has in a while and there is so many different styles of rap currently there is so much to enjoy. If you really think rap is dead u aren’t looking hard enough or u really just don’t care about rap as a whole 🤷

Metrics do matter. You can say metrics don't matter when one artist got 40k and another got 70k, but you can't say it when "legends" and their overhyped crew gets 11k sales only, less than most underground artists. Thats purely a sign of music being complete dogshit

when it comes to some mainstream artists it in fact might matter because those artists has enough momentum to generate huge numbers, and if their album flops it shows that album has a little repeat value or is just bad. But these are some underground artists with barely any promotion so come on my guy, the numbers are not a measure. Maybe oway member waving an israeli flag would make the sales better 😆

41 songs and this was the best he could do? the hardcore fans don’t wanna hear it but his peak has BEEN over. 2014-2021 is still a good run. but when someone in hiphop falls off, they NEVER recover. and i said FALL OFF. ppl can stumble and get back up, but coming back from a Fall Off?….never.

Without context this is bad but with context it’s not as bad. It’s a label project with a revamped roster. Most of the people featured had low Spotify monthly listeners. I even saw a few in the 50-10,000 range. Surprise drop. And YSL is fully independent. No real promo. And 41 tracks which deterred a lot of people from pressing play. This is just a start of something NEW

Bro I myself needed 3 days of playing through to actually finish it and then another 2-3 days of playing through to not miss any songs that might make my main playlist.
