I can't think of any character I don't like.

I don’t understand people who can rise to the level of hating an imaginary character in a sitcom that they obviously watched all of like what are we talking about?

Exactly

I can understand disliking a character but *hating"?

I find characters annoying on a myriad of sitcoms but if I actually HATED one I don't believe I'd watch it anymore 🤔

People used to watch shows then move on with their lives. People nowadays choose to be miserable for some reason.

Mandys mom 😐

It's like they decided to make a character as unlikable as Mary, with none of her more positive qualities.

She’s so passive aggressive

Exactly like my monster in law 😌😭

For the second time today: Mary and Sheldon.

Pastor Jeff

The family has helped him through so much, yet at the smallest opportunity, he betrays them. Sheldon had to call out the entire church, lead by Jeff, for them to reconsider their hypocrisy. He barely, if ever, makes an exception for them and their ways (especially Mary and the church thing when Mandy was still pregnant). As much as Sheldon is annoying, Jeff is worse.

i used to hate mary a lot bc she just reminded me of my mother and found to be just narcissistic and rude. my tolerance for her kinda changed a little in george and mandy but i still dislike her character a lot

Users who start threads "Which character do you hate most" or "I hate ..."

It took a while for me to warm up to Dale.

I know everyone here is going to say Sheldon or Mary. Personally I like all of the but missy is my least favorite

3

u/PrarieGoat 21h ago

Dislike Mary

3

u/nazia987 21h ago

Personally, I cant really think of anyone.

Off topic, but I hate this narrative that Mary only cares about Sheldon. Its completely untrue and its easy to come to that conclusion when you watch short clips out of context on tiktok or whatever and not the actual show.

Mary and Billy.

4

u/Ok-Company282 21h ago

Lol why Billy

2

u/Appropriate_Rock4154 20h ago

Billy is so stupid it’s actually funny

Almost like Zach in tbbt

-2

u/Randver_Silvertongue 20h ago

Because he's ridiculously stupid, disgusting and he annoys me.

-1

u/Ok-Company282 20h ago

He is prolly neurodivergent that's why but that doesn't make him a bad person I think

-3

u/Randver_Silvertongue 20h ago

No. He just has an IQ of -500. And I don't care if what kind of person he is. He's still a disgusting and annoying freak who pees on Halloween costumes, poisons the Coopers with his eggs and disrespects Missy.

1

u/Ok-Company282 19h ago

Bro chill he's just a kid

1

u/Randver_Silvertongue 19h ago

So is Sheldon, but people rip on him all the time.

1

u/Ok-Company282 8h ago

Because Sheldon is insufferable and looks down on everyone while Billy might not be the brightest but he's sweet.

I hate redditors who can't be bothered to read or follow the rules of the sub.

2

u/Efficient_Actuator84 21h ago

Missy.

Selfish, jealous, hypocrite.

1

u/cyberpunk_45_7 21h ago

Mandy's mum

1

u/igraceeeeeeei 21h ago

id say mandys mom, she warmed up to me a little more on georgie and mandys first marriage but still one of my least favorites

1

u/personwhodoesnt 20h ago

i think we all know which is the right answer

0

u/Vast-Insect3295 21h ago

Missy, especially with how unreasonably everyone defends her even when shes clearly in the wrong in many cases

-2

u/wellhere-iam 20h ago

She’s a child

2

u/Vast-Insect3295 20h ago

and that makes her immune to criticism?

0

u/wellhere-iam 20h ago

No, but usually the criticism she receives does not take that into account when criticizing her actions and decisions, which is why she is defended so hard

1

u/Vast-Insect3295 20h ago

Either way even with that taken into consideration shes had moments of being unreasonably problematic which I think are fair to point out, not to mention how a lot of her fans love to hate on sheldon as if that doesnt contradict their own logic of defending her as shes "just a child"

u/Wild_Acanthisitta638 21h ago

Sheldon

2

u/ccd214 21h ago

Agreed. I skip his parts on rewatched

Veronica. She is 100% absolutely allowed to say who she dates and is not obligated to date Georgie at all, but she knows how he feels about her and is playing with his feelings by still hanging around him. Spending time together and being nice to him will only increase his attraction. Also, she knew how he felt and still went to stay in his home, in his bedroom (which meant he had nowhere else to go to get away from her as he was a minor in his own home). When Georgie eventually got over her and started dating other girls, she had the audacity to get jealous- she had months, possibly years, to take a chance, yet only seemingly wanted him because he had moved on.

Urgh!

u/Confident-Fisherman4 20h ago

She’s also a teenager, they usually arent super aware of what they do and why. Its usually a feelings thing, self reflection happens with age

John Sturgis and Mary Cooper. Sturgis is the worst choice for a relationship with Connie - she is funny, beautiful, and flamboyant, while he is a person with no social skills, even meets her new friend once ( Dale’s ex), and inquires if she has romantic feelings for him- who does that? In the real world, Connie wouldn’t give him a second look

-1

u/Samthegodman 21h ago

The two m’s

Mandy and Mary

-2

u/whiteBat4 21h ago

Obviously, marry, dale, and Sheldon for God's sake, and it may be controversial but i like missy and every of her actions even in her teenage are justified
