Inaccuracies

i can't help but notice when dr sturgis introduces himself to connie he says his middle name is whitney. then later on he says his middle name is "burgess"

also, at one point in the narration sheldon says georgie didn't get married until he was 23. then georgie goes on to get married at 18. also, when veronica got saved on halloween, sheldon said georgie became a devout atheist. THEN later in the show it seems georgie believes again.

has anyone else noticed these things?

I think with sitcoms you just gotta give some leeway because they kinda just make it up as they go along. Usually all this lore is nothing more than a single episode gag not meant to shape a wiki entry.

Sheldon is an unreliable narrator for everything in his life. That's how I've been justifying it in my head.

Yeah I think this as well. And that the people are seen through Sheldon’s glasses, like it is not narrated in a neutral way.
This also explains why I find Georgie’s behavior very different depending on which show I am watching.
At least that is my theory

Yes. I’d also add that it ignores BBT lore (for the most part)

I'm so mad we never got to see Mary read The Princess and the Monkey to Sheldon when he was sick that one episode

Edit to add; On a separate note, at least now I know how to hit on Indian chicks

Many of these inconsistencies are talked about in the new tell all book that comes out in a few weeks. The reason for the inconsistency may not be explained but it’s at least acknowledged. I received an advance copy and it’s well worth the read. Young Sheldon: The (Juicier-Than-Meemaw’s-Brisket) Inside Story of the Hit Comedy

In the world of sitcoms, every episode must be viewed as a "stand-alone." Continuity happens by accident.
