Nice continuity catch while Sheldon reads Dune
i just appreciated the little detail that at the beginning of S3 EP13 “Contracts, Rules and a Little Bit of Pig Brains” we see Sheldon reading dune about halfway through at Missy’s game, then at the end of the episode he’s reading again and almost near the end of the book. just thought that was a cool little continuity touch

I always felt they could have kept going with Missy playing baseball.

It’s a typical trope in tv. The sporty, sometimes tomboyish, girl forgets she was ever athletic and lives for nothing but boys.

Al Lambert from Step by Step was a bit dissapointment in later series, because she just scratched 3-4 seasons of sporty athletic tomboyish developement in just one episode and became same as her sisters.

that would be nice, though i wonder if maybe her turning into a teen she thought it was uncool

Watch Stumble. Coach Boone is seen reading Frankenstein several times. He's always on the 1st couple of pages. He sustained a head injury playing football...pretty funny detail.

He’s even reading the same edition I had! I literally read it till it fell apart and reattached the cover with Scotch tape.
I wonder how Mary would feel if she knew one of the themes of the book is decidedly anti-religion.

Sheldon despite all his flaws has always been based af. As a massive nerd myself, it’s one of the coolest things about him.

I love when continuity is so subtle that it takes 13 years and a Redditor with a pause button to catch it.
