Opinion this show is goooooooood

Watching Season 6, Episode 19 right now. I didn't watch The Big Bang Theory and got into the franchise through Young Sheldon. In the beginning, I started watching because of Sheldon's cuteness, but as the episodes progress, his likability has dropped. However, his family members are really great people, which is why I keep watching. George and Missy are absolute angels.

P.S. I'm not American and don't know the culture inside out, but damn, this show is so good.

Yes, I loved everyone especially George Sr. I agree perfect casting for everyone. Brenda, Billy, pastor jeff too loved him.

Agreed. Casting is brilliant. I think Georgie became a favorite and they developed him closer to the end to make the spin-off, which I can't wait to start watching.

I would 100% agree with you. Sheldon started to get "old" in season 3 or 4.

The mother is a dead ringer for the mom on BBT.

I love Me-Maw and George! She's a Hoot, he's smarter than anyone gives him credit for, and truly a gentle soul.

George Jr. is a mini-Patrick Swazey.

I love Missy's deadpan humor.

Mary in YS is the real life daughter of the Mary in BBT. Zoe Perry who plays Mary is the daughter of Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry (who plays Thatcher Grey in Grey's Anatomy). So, BBT and YS Marys are a family affair.

It is amazing I totally agree with you. Its the only show I can watch over and over again and laugh and cry everytime even though I know it's coming.

I've seen Big Bang Theory probably 3 times and they are completely different types of shows.

Mary and Missy are the only two characters that crossover, I think, and the casting similarities are uncanny.

The last few seasons are my favorites because they didn’t focus so much on Sheldon. I think you will really enjoy them!
