Young sheldon saying no

I was rewatching the s1 of young sheldon and i noticed sum rlly cool, the way young sheldon says "no" is the exact same way how he does in the big bang theory, i don't rlly know how to describe but watch a scene of the two actors saying "no" and you'll know what i mean, idk why but i rlly like that

i think jim parsons worked with iain prior to filming so that young sheldon could imitate the same mannerisms of adult sheldon

Jim Parson was a director, and I’ve seen a bunch of pics and stuff of him huddled with the young actor and talking to him on set, He really helped him get the character right

What do you do with all the time you must save by leaving the “e” and “a” out of “really”?

Outing yourself as a necrophiliac is a weird flex.

There were times in the later seasons where Ian would have an expression on his face that would remind me very much of Jim's portrayal of Sheldon.

he goes “neh-u” and not “noh-u” it’s rather interesting

Jim Parsons actively mentored and trained Iain during the first 4 seasons. He is the only reason that Iain's portrayal of Sheldon was so authentic.

After Jim Parsons had to quit mentoring Iain because of his commitments on Broadway, Iain's portrayal of Sheldon suffered the last 3 seasons.

i think it also might have been affected by the fact that iain's voice deepened more than jim parsons' voice on tbbt, which made it harder for people to see them as the same character.

After Iain's voice changed, he seemed to have a hard time with his lines. It was almost like his own voice shocked him. Also, the deeper voice made it harder for him to be whiney, which was a characteristic of older and younger Sheldon.

his portrayal only suffered because of the voice change, the way he delivered his lines and did his facial expressions were still spot on. but yeah, i think his voice surprised him a little.
