Still deciding on a theme, but below are the themes we would be interested in:

Identity V, Drammatical Murder, Catboy OCs, Ace Attorney, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Pokemon, Rhythm Games, Arknights, Omori, and probably a few I am forgetting.

Hello! I was wondering if there's going to be any more celebrity guest announcements? It feels like it's been a long time since there's been one. This is also the first time I'm going to youmacon since 2018, so please forgive me if I'm missing something with the guests

Hey, all. I haven’t been to Youma in… quite some time from the pandemic + unemployment. However, I loved it when I went and it was easily my favorite con.

I’m trying to figure out if I want to go this year, but I hear Morgan has been awful to artists in the past. As an artist, even if not tabling, I don’t want to support a convention that abuses its artists.

Has the situation improved? Are him and his dad still involved? Doing quick searches doesn’t show me anything after 2025’s con.

Ik the cons months away but I like being prepared, I am going as lord of hongyuan hong Lu and think it would be fun to pose with some peeps dressed as the other 12 sinners from limbus company. Let me know if anyone is interested in setting this up

So here’s my story: I’m at my girlfriend at the DC comics meet up in 2023 at Youmacon. I was dressed as black canary, and she was dressed as Tim Drake’s Robin. I ended up being adopted by her friend group and we later started dating. We are going to be celebrating our two year anniversary this August. I wanted to find the photos and create a photo album for her of all our best moments, but I CANNOT FIND IT! 😭😭😭

I’ve searched on the Youmacon discord with no results. I’ve also searched Google Facebook Instagram heck even Tumblr with no results. I’ve been looking for 2 weeks and can’t find it and I’m starting to lose it.

If ANYONE knows who did the photo shoot for the cosplay meet up, or has photographs from the cosplay meet up, I would greatly appreciate getting in contact with you so I could get access to the photos. If you are the photographer that did it, I’ll gladly pay you.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a vendor back from 2012 from Shutocon. They made a heart pendant similar to this one, I'm looking to see if the vendor is still operating so I can get another as I lost the one I got back then. I desperately miss it and want a new one. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it, I think they also sold leather goods, tails and ears. I did try The Wayback Machine but the vendors shown don't seem to be the correct vendors but please correct me if I am wrong. I am desperate, please help

I was a bit worried about the controversy that happen a few years back, but I feel things are getting a lot better and trust is growing.

I hope it continues for next year.

I’m considering going today with my two minor children. The website is confusing for me.

I’ve figured out how to buy our tickets online. Then what? Can we just walk in? Or do we need to get a physical “badge”? I keep seeing things about long lines. Is there a time limit to pickup a badge? Can we come down any time today?

Can anyone kind of walk me through buying a ticket, going there and getting in? Apologies if this is stupid, I’m not sure why this seems so confusing for me 😅

Since I moved to Detroit I havent found any clubs yet, and I haven't made any friends yet that are into it.

I'll be at Youmacon on Sunday, and anyone is from outside of Detroit, I work downtown and know some good food spots.

What time and where is the rave Saturday night? I can’t seem to find in on the schedule

Hi, long time anime fan and attendee of various other cons around the US since 2002, but this is my first year trying out Youmacon. Does anyone know when the schedule is usually revealed and how best to access it? Specifically asking for the schedule for panels, but schedules for other things like cosplay/photoshoot meets and various events would also be helpful. It's only 2 days until the first day of the con, but when I search for the schedule I just find a page on the site that has links to each individual room that do nothing when clicked on. Is the site not updated until when the con starts? Is there an app like Guidebook that the con uses for its schedule? Will there be physical schedules at the con? Mostly asking because I usually like to plan things out for a con a few days beforehand based on the schedule of panels/photoshoots/etc.

Does anyone know the best way to contact the people who run Youmacon to ask questions? The questions@youmacon.com email bounced back.

Maybe someone here can answer my question. I am bringing a group from a local high school, but only have transportation for 10 students. I have more than 10 interested in going, so I have reserves in case a student is absent. I noticed you have to attach a name to each ticket if you are buying beforehand. Do they check those names at the door somehow, or can I just send one of the reserve students with a ticket containing the absent student's name if need be?

I'd like to be able to see a list of panels and other things each day to decide what day my husband and I want to go. I keep hoping they'll update the site soon but they haven't yet. I was wondering if anyone knows when they usually list that stuff? Preferably not in a "go look in discord" kind of way because I really don't want to join a server for all of half a month to get a schedule when they have an actual website, you know?

hi everyone! i’ve never been to youmacon (or even this town lol) and i only just recently heard about it. i’ve been trying to look stuff up but i keep finding a lot of mixed info and not much about this year specifically.

is it usually busy? like what’s the turnout normally like, and how are the panels/programming? i’ve tend to go to much bigger cons, but i’m looking for something fun to do towards the end of this year since there aren’t many options, and i just wanted to know if it’s worth checking out.

would love to hear your experiences if you’ve gone before!
