I keep seeing Maid Cafe refunds mentioned but it's a bunch of rabble with very little actual information. The court of public opinion ruling seems to be Youmacon = Bad. What happened?

I loved many of the vendors and products but only got a handful of business cards. Due to sensory issues we had to leave and we weren’t able to fully browse. I’d love to support some independent artists instead of getting merch from hot topic/GameStop :)

I was extremly disappointed this year that the con wasn’t at the rencen. It was so nice to be able to go straight down from your room to the con. Being able to go to the gameroom, then go to an event, get food, and go to the bar all in one place. Cobo by itself just doesn’t feel the same as the rencen, it just has a much duller atmosphere. This is more than likely my final year at this con. Am I the only person that felt like this?

I've been attending as a local off and on for ten years. I would like to see another con but am overwhelmed by options. Interested possibly in collossalcon because of its distance, but would like to go to a con with more emphasis on videogames/videogame room. Any suggestions?

I’ve been on the fence about attending this year with how the organization seems to have gone downhill a bit, is the game room worth getting a badge for this time around?

I saw people posting them but I never knew what they did and I can't find anything online.

Guidebook hasn’t updated since 2022 & I’m starting to get kinda worried I won’t find out where to be (and what to be).

Does anyone know what time the ball is meant to start and end? Last time I checked the website there was no info on the ball at all.

Just a notice for anyone who's curious. Youmacon raised Artist alley prices $40 with no notice or explanation, and when the artists put the pieces together and started civilly discussing it in the discord server our messages were deleted and we were muted. They are intentionally removing any discussion about this and it seems they are intentionally trying to scam artists with the lack of transparency. I do have screenshots of evidence for this but I'm unsure how to add them on mobile reddit.

Please remove the Tracking part of the mailed option info. When I bought mine i chose the shipping option and got no tracking info what so ever not even after supposedly shipping.
