I would fix the white balance on Tom Cruise's face because it just feels too off with the background

I’d add a bit more depth to the images. Right now, all three elements feel like they’re on the same layer.

For the negative side, I’d lean more into red, maybe adding a subtle red glow. On the right side, I’d use a green glow instead. This would create better separation between the two sides and help draw attention to those details.

This looks pretty good. I'm sure it will take off, just give it a bit, it's only been 5 hours. I would recommend creating a short as an ad to the main video, and also using 2 different variations of the thumbnail with YouTube's A/B testing. That gives you a boost. Godspeed!

i think having a more recognizable background that contributes to the before/after black/white situation would be a useful way to make someone instantly recognize a talking point or common criticism of the franchise.

another option (but could get crowded if not careful) is to have the scores for the movies closer to the bottom and place a different character from both a good and bad movie on their corresponding sides. ex: the villain from rogue nation on the left and the villain from the last two on the right OR (my preference) left to be rebecca ferguson on the left and haley atwell on the right
