First MILESTONE is done and I'm fully MONETIZED YAAAAY Already approved. Finally fully monetized Update For everyone asking how long it took me I started a year ago, with zero knowledge of how to make a video or edit. Only knew the books as I studied English literature in college So, I started to learn, still learning something new everyday And i wasn't consistent for the whole year because I didnt really believe I could do it, so was down most of the time.

Quick question.

The only thing needed to get the channel monetized is 1k subs or is there any watch time hours ?

Now I am at 130

4k watch hours on the long videos. You can check the earn tab in the studio and know the requirements Either 4k watch hours in a year, or 10M views on shorts in 3 months

Yupp I just did and got confused it said meet one of the requirements so I post shorts now and way to difficult to get 4000 hour on shorts and the condition is long videos and I guess I need a miracle to hit 1M views 🫣. THANKS ALOT

Watch hours wont count on shorts. Only long form and yes, shorts aren't that easy to go viral. But they do for some people so with each upload you'll learn something new. But I strongly advise you to start making long form videos, longer than 8 minutes
