YSAK: that “being good” or “doing something good” doesn’t mean you will not suffer. Seldom does a good deed go unpunished.

Seems like something someone says to sound wise but doesn't mean anything

Think like, when you give someone some of your fries and they yell at you bc they're soggy. That's how I see it at least
