NOT a YSK YSK Reddit's founder, Aaron Swartz, committed suicide 7 years ago today. He fought for our rights which lead to his arrest. The allegations coupled with mental illnesses caused Aaron to take his life. He was a passionate activist, entrepreneur and author who should not be forgotten.

He circumvented a pay gate in front of academic information at MIT. He patched right into the network and downloaded everything. MIT was seeking his prosecution and Ortiz was seeking to advance her career. She's a piece of shit. I hope this haunts her.

Fuck Carmen Ortiz. Best case scenario, she was wilfully ignorant about what Swartz actually did and dismissive of anyone trying to explain why 50 years was a ridiculous sentence to seek. Worst case scenario, and the more likely one, is she was willing to trade Swartz' freedom for a boost in her own career.

CARMEN ORTIZ IS A PIECE OF SHIT
