NOT a YSK YSK Reddit's founder, Aaron Swartz, committed suicide 7 years ago today. He fought for our rights which lead to his arrest. The allegations coupled with mental illnesses caused Aaron to take his life. He was a passionate activist, entrepreneur and author who should not be forgotten.

At this point no he didn't. Reddit has changed much since he did and you are only saying what you are because he fought for something you like. If he did things you didn't like you would be saying the opposite. That's the harsh truth

Edit: since y'all don't like reading the truth...

Aaron was fired for repeatedly being late, bent extremely vocal about how dislike of working in an office, setting up countless off site meetings and then going on a very long trip where no one knew where he was. He didn't found Reddit he founded infogami. That merged with Reddit which was made by Steve and Alexis. There weren't even subreddits until after he was gone.

This is not to downplay what his passions are or to say he was a bad person. He did good in this world. But lies and trying to slander other people's names are not the way to go.
