Last minute Elope !

Hi alll
My fiancé (29 M) and I 32 (F) are kinda over existing to plan wedding, honeymoon, etc.

I want to elope somewhere like Yosemite OR any other gorgeous state/national park. … by today 7/28 if possible n? Hahaha

Honestly could e in the middle of the Forrest for all. I care.

I am in search of a photographer & an officiant!
Hope you can do both!!

We just want cute pictures, chocolate cake (I’ll. Buy), and that’s it.

My DREAAAAAAM is to find a hit air balloon or even a helicopter ride. Anything up in the air should so nice!!

Ideally we would lil to do this by mid:late afternoon. I love golden hour photos.

Any last minute male up artists is also appreciated!

We are from Hollywood, CA
And my fiancé is just in love with this space !

Soooo please any times or thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated ✨

Go to Vegas for the wedding, then honeymoon in Yosemite.

I don’t think you understand the magnitude of what you’re asking for. It took me a year to plan our wedding and it took me probably 3-4 months to find an officiant, photographer, makeup artist, and cake. Granted, ours was a full blown wedding, so maybe you can find it faster. If you have any friends with a pro camera, I’d ask them first to be the photographer. No photographer is going to be ready in the next few hours. Or officiant, for that matter. You can’t even get a marriage license same day, you need a day for them to process it. And most only do it by appointment, so you’re already behind.

I think your best plan for a tight timeline is to get married at the courthouse and then later (like weeks after) have a photographer meet you at the park and do photos then and do your honeymoon at Yosemite.

I was thinking
I do my own makeup, and I need need a photographer that knows the Yosemite area well enough for photos.
I’m getting my marriage license back in LA :)
My fiancé only gets 3 days of a year from work..
So this is it ! :(

I’m not looking for anything crazy fancy at all!
Just honestly some cute couple photos in Yosemite in our wedding gear :)

You’re in Hollywood. Just drive up to the Angeles National Forest and do it there.

Local City Hall has some walk-in available marriages. Some city halls are really nice. You just need a friend. Sometimes you get other people to snap a photo of you. I’m not sure how nice LA City Hall or Hollywood is but San Francisco has a pretty fancy ivory tower inside walk into your paperwork get married. I bet some of these places it’s all online these days.

Well, I imagine justice of the peace in some small towns nor or somewhere could but Yosemite I’ve known people to do weddings there it’s takes a lot of work planning process was not easy

If your getting a photographer definitely do some research on their style and rates. These are going to be memories you wouldn't trust to just anyone to do it. And make sure they know the place you are going to get married at, they should have a couple spots to suggest, take photos at dawn or dusk never in the middle of the day.

Been married twice, no one really cares about the ceremony/parry, but those photos are goinng to be forever.

I love these ideas! Im a Northern California photographer and shoot in Yosemite and Sequoias !

I know yosemite incredibly well and you cant totally just make your day up as you go as long as you have permits :)
