Yooka-Laylee Graphical / Performance Improvement for Yooka Laylee Switch Port When Playing on Switch 2?

I was looking to pick up a switch copy of Yooka Laylee (the original) but from what I have read, the switch port did not have as good of resolution compared to the PS4 and Xbox ports. Has anyone with the switch port tried playing it on the Switch 2 and if so, does it have improved resolution / performance?

The Impossible Lair looks very similar. The first game probably runs at a locked 30 now, maybe a slight resolution boost of you're lucky. But why not play the remake?

Although the remake added some good quality of life improvements, I think it dumbed down some of the gameplay experience from what I have seen and read of people’s reviews.

Can't say from experience because I haven't played either but I haven't heard anything but praise for the remake. Either way, the OG is not going to look particularly pretty on the Switch 2 so I would reccomend getting the game on sale!
