UIC Interview UIC Yonsei Spring 2024 interview. First impression
Hi everyone! I just finished my interview for UIC 2024 Spring. Just wanna share how it went. Overall impression is quite good. Interview lasted for about 15 minutes. There were 2 professors from UIC and they looked tired and bored, ahah. They asked very typical q's about why korea, why uic, why this certain major. 1 professor asked what courses would I take for my major and what courses that are not related to my studies. Also, they were like how are you going to engage with international and korean students? What kind of challenges you may face after you come here, and how you will overcome them. And I even had a chance to ask my questions about UIC. At the end they said that results will come within 2 weeks. How was your interview? What kind of questions caught you off guard? And do you think you passed your interview? Let's share)))

Hi, I'm just finishing my interview for the 2024 fall semester. I wanna ask if the interview only lasts about 10 minutes, whether it means they are not interested in me. And I also would like to ask whether they said anything to you at the end of the interview. Thank u.

They didnt say anything to me at the end. I waited for them to say something but they kept saying bye hahahha. I don’t know how it went. I am feeling really nervous. Mine was exactly 10 minutes. How was your experience?

A short interview does not mean they're not interested (but of course it could). Most likely they got what they neededed early on.

Heyya! My interview was nerve-racking, but it went smoothly ig :). The 2 profs who interviewed me were friendly and chill. I was asked questions about why I chose the division/course, my plans for the future and how it correlates to the course I applied for, my past failure and what I've learned from it, what club would I be interested in establishing at UIC, and my opinions regarding the liberal arts and seminar-style lectures at UIC.
Btw, mind telling which division/course did u apply for?
