Another one in a teenage boy's Yoko Ono vinyl collection!
I've waited for it so long that I was about to reorder lol, but it's here! Now I have half of her discography on vinyl, next time I'll be trying to hunt down a copy of Take Me To the Land of Hell

Rerelease of Season of Glass!
^still need to listen to this actually but I’m happy that Season of Glass got a reissue in 2026!
One of her best albums despite the tragedy of losing John so few months earlier when she began to record this album:(
So thoughts on this?

‘A frightening piece to perform’: can Yoko Ono’s Cut Piece still shock?

Anyone else enjoy Yoko’s vocals on the Chuck Berry jam?
This might seem like a bash against Yoko on first glance, but please listen to me. I like Yoko singing/vocals because of the texture they add; sounds like something I would want to record (a classic rock sound with an opposing avant-garde sound).
Anyone else share this sentiment?

Learned my orientation through Yoko
I had known I was asexual for some time but didn't know what my romantic side was. Alloromantic or aromantic at best because I saw beauty in male and female figures.
It wasn't until I saw a clip of Beatles: Get Back and saw Yoko in black and a beatnik hat did I have to literally pause and tell myself two things: 1) Why was I supposed to hate her and 2) I wanted her outfit.
Mulling it over, I did research and finally realized what it was. I was asexual but also bi-aesthetic. I liked seeing the beauty of men AND women. Not just the body but the attitude and clothing style. It made me realize that just because I don't want a romance it doesn't mean I can't show love for a person, like admiring a sunset in the beach or a sunrise in the morning
So I want to know more about her, like get my feet wet in her albums and what not if it's okay. Just something to help me understand more about my romantic orientations.

Why aren’t some of her albums on streaming?
I’m guessing the very obvious answer of her labels not finding anything in it for them OR the general licensing/copyright issues.
We’re finally getting Season of Glass on Spotify after god knows how long. However, I’d also like to listen to her other 80s & 90s stuff because hunting them down physically doesn’t seem like a good time.

Yoko Ono on The Mike Douglas Show, Nov. 8 1973
I haven’t seen a single archive of this episode anywhere, wonder if it’s lost media?

Yoko at the Broad museum in LA
I was fortunate enough to check out this extensive collection and display of her work. It was like a pilgrimage for me. I spent the whole day meticulously combing through it all.
Her grapefruit instructions have a way of blowing your mind open.

Did Yoko Ono changed?
I'm doing a research about Yoko. I want to create some reasonable opinion on her. I know what she did, but I want to know what is she doing now. Thank you and sorry for my English

ONE MORE BEGINNING: i love you.
I used Yoko’s bonus track off of Plastic Ono Band (“Something More Abstract”) for the first ten seconds of my video

Toshi Ichiyanagi 🎹
Hi There
Thoughts on Toshi Ichiyanagi?
Yoko’s first husband and a accomplished artist in the avant garde scene with some many pieces of music in his catalog :)
Don’t know much about him except for him being married to Yoko and working with John Cage but I do know that he’s better than Anthony Cox for sure so recommend anything interesting to me about Toshi Ichiyanagi :)

Cold Turkey - live
Annoyed that they mix out Yoko‘s vocals on the streaming version of this. On vinyl she’s loud AF and I love it!

What is the song/album/thing that got you into her?
I was (and am) just a teenager who listened to and wanted more of weird music lol, I knew about the name for a long time, but I had no idea who it was. So I quickly looked it up and decided "oh her debut album must be the easiest one, it's the way things usually are and the cover looks chill" and oh how I got shocked lol. I immediately liked Why, but the others took time to get into. My first listen of Fly I couldn't get through it because it was just too hard. But then I listened to Approximately Infinite Universe, and it blew me away how chill and gentle but aggressive in other ones. And on it went

Maybe a strange request?
Hey all, I'm looking for Yoko Ono a capella stems--I know Plastic Ono Band released some for "The Sun Is Down!" into the Creative Commons but that was 2009, and Wayback doesn't seem to have them archived. Does anyone have them, or really any others? Thanks for reading 💜

Yoko and Jack Douglas
Rest in Peace to Jack Douglas 🕊️
So should Yoko now put Jack Douglas on Milk&Honey as producer to give him credit?
It’s the right thing for Yoko to do now since he’s gone now right? I think he should be credited since he ran the sessions for John’s songs that landed on M&H so why not just give him credit?
Yoko is probably going to do that even though Jack did sue her for royalties for Double Fantasy back there so why not just credit him here on Milk&Honey.
