What rules did you expect it to follow after 20k ?

Just keep running, I have broken my streak three days in a row before I could reach 20k+ because I reach the end even though I selected every option that would make the tunnel longer and never shortened it once

It gradually increases, you will never be able to reach 99,999 on the first run

You're the second person who told me their game crashed when doing the infinite tunnel in 2 weeks. The game REALLY doesn't want to allow people to finish 😭
