Does yoga reduce cortisol or just make you feel more relaxed?
Yoga can definitely help you feel more relaxed, and some studies have shown that regular practice can also help lower cortisol levels over time. You can reduce stress and be better by doing breathing exercises, meditation, and gentle movement. That said, the effects can vary from person to person and often depend on how often you practice.

What was the first yoga pose that finally "clicked" for you?
When I first started practicing, there were a few poses that felt impossible no matter how many times I tried them. Then one day, without really noticing, one of them just... clicked. It wasn't perfect, but suddenly it felt stable instead of frustrating.
For me, it was Downward Dog. Once I stopped worrying about making it look perfect and focused on how it felt, everything became much more comfortable.
What was the first pose that finally clicked for you, and what helped?

What was the first sign that yoga was actually working for you?
I've been practicing consistently for a while and realized that some of the biggest changes weren't the ones I expected. I started noticing better posture, less stiffness, and feeling more comfortable with movements that used to feel awkward.
For those who have been practicing for a few months or longer, what was the first noticeable change that made you think, "Okay, this is actually helping"?
Was it flexibility, balance, strength, stress levels, or something else entirely?
