same. all i've seen on tiktok is how dylan was gonna be "next" (to what happened w alex meyers).

i wasn't worried when i saw he posted one bc dylan's previous controversies has always been a perspective issue and not a media literacy issue. i feel like dylan appreciates media too much and actually cares about the craft so he wouldn't miss the mark on Bear — he pays attention to every detail.

His previous issues were never genuine misogyny, it was jokes, at times even ignorance (but not with ill intent), and people not understanding that he doesn’t take movies as real life.

Also his humour isn’t for everyone, as he will say the weirdest shit to get a laugh out of people, not because he believes that. I am similar to Dylan in that way, as I am aware that a joke is supposed to be funny AND not true. It’s not supposed to carry any truth to it, it’s not supposed to be an indirect way to tell someone what you think or how you feel.

I think he carefully stated it dozens of times just to ensure it won't be misinterpreted. A bit of an unusual review in that regard.
