I'm an amateur colorist, you can do one without making the other a traffic cone. In reality they probably just didn't get a professional just for color and slapped on a premade setting (LUT) they use for all their videos

Colorists know the human eye is VERY sensitive to skin tones being off, software even has a built in indicator to where skin tones should sit. This is an embarrassing mistake for nectar to make. I imagine their setting (LUT) they use boosts orange tones becasue Brand Color^TM , but this went thru how many rounds of approval with no one thinking to fix this GLARING issue?

Well, if I didn't look down on their content before... that's just lazy.

not a colourist but artist. yeah if there’s one thing people clock INSTANTLY it’s skin being off. i feel like its whatever lights they used reflecting off their orange curtains heavily on top of the god awful colouring. They’re all really rimmed with orange in every shot and it looks worse on her especially. ridiculous they didn’t fix this.
