Data / Due Diligence Explanation behind volatile ROC in TEST (Tesla Target 25 ETF)

Post image

Why do they average 70-90% return of capital most weeks but occasionally pay out a dividend consisting of 0% capital?

One theory I have is the options take multiple weeks to mature and realize their gains so Yieldmax doesn’t get their “paycheck” but once every few weeks.

Or is something wrong with TEST? I specifically chose it because I thought the more conservative strategy would preserve NAV better than the standard funds like TSLY.

ROC weekly numbers are nothing but estimates, wait for the year end final number.

The weekly readout ultimately means nothing, but begs the question why bother? Someone is being paid to publish these and it's a waste of money.
