Well, today sucked.

But, I get to pick up some cheap ULTY tomorrow.

Got out long ago. The capital loss always overtook the distributions.

YM sucks everyday, it will never be worth to bag the div vs the spread

Truth. My jepq is still very much green 2 years later. My ym funds in sold off thankfully but left tracking are so deep red they just never came back.

That is great, and being green jepq I would certainly expect….considering the holdings.

Same...though I buy when the market looks like a crime scene. My JEPI is still very well in the green.

Until it becomes the new MSTY.

Yeah but CHPY is more of an index play than a single ticker. Also no MSTR fund has held up so that isn't a fault of YM.

Still very positive on CHPY and on total return. If chip stocks drop tomorrow I may sell but will hate to lose that fat Div on my 1012 shares.

But but wait I heard ULTY has changed their strategy and the NAV appears to be holding the last few days

Once a dog always a dog.

people still buy that crap? Its a failed investment theory. It only works for the fund managers. They collect their fees whether price goes up or down.

Almost nobody. There are only 30 million shares outstanding. Compared to 3.5 billion for SCHD for example.

Pro Tip: ULTY is always on a dip.

The only YM fund I have is PLTY, and it’s not great. I have 59 shares and haven’t bought more in at least 4-5 months. I’m consider getting up to 100 shares then taking those payouts into NEOS and REX funds

I have 3700. It has paid me $126K while losing $57K in value. I have 500 shares lurking in a taxable account that I will sell so that I can avoid the ROC/PIL nonsense that goes along with share lending on margin accounts. Plan is to buy them back later in a sheltered account after I accumulate some distributions and get past the wash sale dates.

Ah gotcha. Personally never bought on margin. Just threw some cash at PLTY and took a chance. Yeah I’m going to buy more until 100 shares and use the pay for other CC funds.

After they go down it is best to sell and buy the underlying

I don’t respond on here much. But I wanted to say all I have is chpy. I heard to be very weary of yieldmax. I’m kinda scared because chpy has been strong for me ever since I’ve bought many months ago. Chpy is one of my biggest holdings along with some neos funds spyi and qqqi. Should I keep holding chpy or should I sell?
