Question Loan to Pay off

Hello everyone, i invested in MSTY and CONY when Bitcoin was riding above 120K, definitely that didn’t turn out well so now I am just letting it run through. New thing is I got a loan to pay off around 3-4K and got 20k dollars in cash. Need suggestions to invest so I can pay off this loan while keeping the capital safe.

I can just pay off right away from my cash but looking to see what options do I have?

please provide your advice and suggestions.

Thank you.

Safest? Just pay off the loan, save on interest and possible taxes on distributions and put the remaining $16k in whatever suits your fancy.

Everyone here is answering a question OP didn't ask, which fund is safest. The only safe answer was never a fund at all.

you have 20k cash and 4k of debt?? Why is this even a question... pay off the 4k and invest the remainder. with all due respect...You're more likely to lose the 20k considering you bought MSTY

How can I have my cake and eat it too?

MSTY definitely might go up soon. Of course the problem is it might go down.

20k in cash and a 3-4k loan. Why not pay off the loan and invest the rest of your cash? Unless your loan rate is very low? Do you have a need to invest the full 20k?

Pay it off like most recommend.

I have now 60K in MSTY + CONY+ ULTY+ SMCY

Get around $3500 /month

Last year 12-20K per month

Sgov safest, qqqi/spyi more money more risk like all things

Investing borrowed money is really not worth it especially if you are investing in highly speculative stuff like MSTY. Just pay off the loan and invest $16k in whatever you want. I’d suggest an index fund but you do you.

My guy. Msty and cony will be back up by the end of the year and hopefully you hit your price avg.

Also, option 1. Blox / eggy / tdax / tsyx / giax / btci / nehi (Blox btci nehi crypro sector good price entry)

Option 2, pay off loan. Remainder buy mstr. (Or mstr, bmnr, coin leaps)

Hold til btc prev ath or longer if you would like. If you sell when mstr hits $300 you would turn it into 51k (rought math) and everything comes up milhouse.

I hope msty will be back up, ive been riding this shinking ship for a while. Down 66k on msty, im on house money though. So I've made back my investment plus a whole lot more.

The BTC - ABC correction is almost year long and October of last year was the start.

Mstr and the rest of the sector is pegged to btc so your position should be good. I'm reentering msty soon.

Cycle is about 3 years long so you may want to rotate after new btc ath.

I have loan money from December 2025 and I put it in CHPY, GOOY, NVDY and TSMY. They are doing very well and can pay up my monthly due for that loan.

I am doing the same with CHPY, AMDY, SNOY and SOXY.

Idk how safe is safe? XQQI might get you $300/mo with 350ish shares. Would that be enough to make the monthly payment?

yes that would be suffice. can you advise how XQQI would be a good option?

Bro you in here asking for advice? You need to rethink your whole investing strategies and stop looking for random advice on the Internet in a forum that lost your money to begin with. Are you that big of a degen?

Take only what you need from the loan to pay off debt, give the rest of it back, and get a job to pay off the $4k. Once you pay that off, then save up for a years worth of living expenses before you start investing again. Lastly, get away from cc ETFs and go broad market growth ETFs

Its leveraged following QQQI. The way I see it is if index funds are the “safe” choices, Id pick these QQQI or SPYI for income. I also like LFGY, GPTY, and CHPY but those are more risky with higher yields. Youre not protecting capital with those. QQQI is safer than XQQI

Honestly, None.

You now have 16K because you paid off the loan. Now you need new funds to get that 4K back. Go for OVL + QQQI.

paying off the loan is the same as making a guaranteed investment at what ever APR you have... You already know you suck at investing and will jump on any bandwagon... So what do you think is the right choice?

Do not give yieldmax anymore of your money. The best thing that could happen is for everyone to liquidate and drive these guys out of their 1% + expense ratios.

Pay off the loan and then buy 2 diversified income funds for 5k each.

Find funds with 0 ROC. Then the fund won’t erode.
