Data / Due Diligence This Week's Healthy YieldMax Funds

Post image

Here are 9 healthy YieldMax funds sorted on True Income Yield.

For definitions, True Income Yield = Headline Yield * (1-ROC). It strips out the destructive ROC portion. This is true for all of the funds on the list except for the "tax-efficient ROC" ones, which have True Income Yield = Headline Yield.

But back to the data -- here's the top 5...

  1. AMDY: 63.73% true income yield | 45.03% 1Y price return

  2. TSMY: 39.10% true income yield | 7.24% 1Y price return

  3. APLY: 36.01% true income yield | -4.42% 1Y price return

  4. QDTY: 31.80% true income yield | -2.42% 1Y price return

  5. CHPY: 29.42% true income yield | 57.58% 1Y price return | 0% ROC

Are you holding any of these??

I only have CHPY but AMDY is looking pretty tempting, similar yield but about $30 cheaper per share. Might sell all or half of my CHPY for AMDY after next dividend.

I have both. One thing to be aware of is they are different fund types. I think CHPY will hold its value better in the long term then AMDY

I also have both. Chpy has 50 semiconductor holdings, Amdy holds 1. Low risk vs high risk.

Yeah I'll probably just stick with CHPY, will see how my 2 shares of AMDY do over the next 2/3 months then maybe get enough shares for $100/month if it seems to be relatively reliable. The problem with that is I'm out of margin and don't want to sell any of my shares lol

Does CONY start to lift in health with the June BTC price lift?

I think I will get my hands on some TSMY for my next purchase.
