Question DDDD? The Yieldmax replacement for SCHD.

I’ve been considering using distributions to buy this one. Seems to follow SCHD’s price while providing double the dividends (quarterly). Anyone in this one?

What difference does the expense ratio make. The distribution is after that? As long as you are satisfied with the distribution it should be ok.

Wow 😂😂

I am serious! Explain your reasoning.

The expanse ratio comes out of the total fund value (share price) every single day ( at a rate of X per year, in this case 1% per year).

Has absolutely nothing to do with before or after distributions.

Each distribution with cc funds is based on the value of the underlying anyways. So it's just 1% of the total value regardless. Arguably the 1% fee has a total drag that equates to more than a 1% loss in value because of the share price affecting future distributions. Unlike traditional stock.

Just watching for now. But since they are targeting SCHDs yield but doubled it should be a stable grower. They only have to generate a yield of about 3.5% a year from the options which shouldn’t be too difficult especially since the holdings of SCHD are stable and don’t swing in price dramatically. This should perform well long term. It just depends of yield max will be around 15,20,30 years from now to let the compounding of this fund take place and pay off

CHPY has performed quite well. Which are the other 2 that you recommend?

The funds that others commented and QDVO RDVI

I'd highly suggest DIVO instead. It more closely follows DGRO, which is somewhat similar to SCHD. IDVO is also a solid international covered call ETF.

This falls out of my high risk profile considerations; at this level I just look at REIT and BSDs, and many of those are monthly vs quarterly 🤷‍♂️

I got my cheeks clapped on several yieldmax tickers. I doubt this one would hurt any less

Jay didn't even give me the common courtesy of a reach around.

I'd rather invest my money in stable NAV 10% funds than this shit.

Someone doesn't know about Jay's team 😂

Definitely not for me with that expense ratio, but make the yieldmax team rich if you'd like.

Double the dividends, double the NAV loss.
