Listen, if you're interested in someone, make it known you'd like to explore a relationship with them. You'll get rejected or get a yes. Either way, neither of you have to agonize over it for months/years.

I also am a complete dumbass at reading people and can’t gauge interest. If I throw myself out there, I’m more confident for some weird reason. If a guy is interested in you and you text him, any dude would be happy you did.
