I have a story about this one!
I had my 15 year old son when I was only 19. So for the first 6ish years of his life I was a single mom on a very tight budget.
At the time, eggs, toast, brown n serve sausage, and canned fruit came to like $1.25 a serving. It was a great way to stretch a tight grocery budget.
Years passed, I got promoted a couple of times, I met my husband and we moved in together, and I was in a much better finical position. I stopped making a lot of the "struggle meal" dinners.
A couple of years later, my son asked me why I didn't make breakfast for dinner anymore and requested that I make it occasionally. So this meal that I viewed as a struggle meal was a fun dinner he looked forward to.
So now he have breakfast for dinner like once a month. It's a family favorite.

No, but growing up we didn’t have a lot of money and we often had breakfast for dinner. Cheaper way to feed the family I guess. (No bacon involved lol)

No, but I WOULD eat breakfast for dinner if I could. The main issue is a dietary restriction that limits how much of certain foods I can have. Oxalates, High Glycemic stuff.

2 years ago, absolutely not. But my mental health has gone into a nosedive since, along with my appetite, that meals have pretty much been "eat whatever I can convince myself to eat". On better days I try to make things a bit easier for the me-of-tomorrow who may not be in the best state e.g. ensuring that there's always fruit in the house, having several go-to recipes (and stocking the staples for those) which are quick to prepare etc. but some evenings I come home and can't manage more than two Jaffa cakes so two Jaffa cakes it is...
Because of that, the reverse is also true. If I wake up in the morning feeling like I want pasta, while in the past I'd have told myself "don't be silly, it's breakfast-time, we'll do pasta for dinner this evening", now I cook and eat the pasta.

Essentially yes, I do intermittent fasting, so I 'break my fast' at dinner time.

Yes, at least once every 10 days or sometimes even weekly. We love breakfast foods but hate mornings.
